Puget Sound Blood Center's financial department manages the billing for Northwest Tissue Services. Tissue Services requests that clients remit payment to the Blood Center. Billing statements are issued monthly and payment is expected within the following 30 days.
Tissue fees cover the costs of tissue procurement, processing, storage and standard local delivery. A freight charge covering the cost of the shipment is added to each delivery outside of Seattle, and a standard $100.00 emergency tissue handling fee is applied to orders that necessitate shipping outside regular hours of operation.
Labeling information, including graft type and
donor and deposit numbers, can be found on the outer jar, wrap, or foil pouch, and on the
tyvek dust cover or cardboard box that serves as a final protective barrier for frozen
tissues. For freeze-dried tissues, all identifying information can be found on the label
attached to each bottle. |
